VW Transporter T6, off grid ski van

A T6 built as an adventure van, for skiing.

It sleeps one, and the whole layout follows from that. There is no second berth squeezed in, so the space goes into storage and into somewhere proper to keep the skis instead.

Water, gas cooking and heating. A toilet. Off grid, so the electrics have to carry all of it without a hookup.

The finished blue VW Transporter outside the workshop with the side door open, showing the galley.
Looking in through the open rear doors at the timber units and bed base.
Gas hob and sink set into the worktop, with a drawer open below.
The galley with drawers and cupboard fronts open, showing the storage down one side.
The bed base with a long storage locker running underneath it.
A portable toilet housed in its own compartment under the bed.
The electrical installation: control panel, isolator and battery mounted under the bed.
The finished interior looking towards the rear, with the timber-lined ceiling and the galley on the right.
